Dothan man among 15 charged in Florida spring break crimes

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Ala. (WDHN) — The Panama City Beach Police Department has charged more than a dozen suspects who they say were involved in the riot at Walmart during spring break.

All suspects are from Alabama and range in age from 17 to 37. The suspects are charged with a variety of crimes including inciting a riot, felony criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and theft during a riot related to a disturbance at the Front Beach Road store.

The incident took place during the last weekend of March. Saturday afternoon, more than 100 people gathered in the Walmart parking lot, then entered the store and began to take over the business.

Officers describe people overturning shopping carts, raking items off the shelves, and intimidating other shoppers and employees. Some rioters were seen on camera destroying parts of the store.

Tydarrius Dashun Franklin Terrell, 21, Dothan, was charged with theft during a riot.

So far, 15 people have been identified and warrants for their arrest have been issued. The two social media influencers, Demarion Ty’Quan Cooper, 20, of Troy, AL, and Rashad Boyce Glasper, 25, of Wetumpka, AL, were arrested in April and charged with inciting or encouraging a riot.
