EW's editorial guidelines Published on May 25, 2022 12:55PM EDT Summer is here, and Netflix is serving up exciting new content to go with it, including a new season of The Umbrella Academy which drops on the streaming platform June 22. As the season 3 trailer has teased, The Hargreeves have their hands full with yet another apocalyptic time paradox event, and this time it's The Sparrow Academy: a new super-powered sibling set that is somehow existing in the same time period and creating a new kind of paradox. Also hitting Netflix in June is Halftime, the Jennifer Lopez documentary that will first premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival June 8. Directed by Tribeca alum Amanda Micheli, the documentary follows Lopez on her superstar journey as she evolves in her career as both an artist and a mother. And fans of the supernatural and author Victoria "V.E." Schwab will be delighted to sink their teeth into episodes of First Kill, a new YA series about vampires, monsters, and forbidden love. Imani Lewis and Sarah Catherine Hook on 'First Kill'. NETFLIX Not into superhero comic adaptations and looking for some good laughs? June brings a ton of stand-up comedy content including specials from Bill Burr, Pete Davidson, Amy Schumer, and a tribute to the late comedian Bob Saget. Netflix is also celebrating Pride Month with a "historic celebration" hosted by Billy Eichner, featuring "the largest-ever gathering of LGBTQ+ comics that includes Margaret Cho, Tig Notaro, Sandra Bernhard, Wanda Sykes, Eddie Izzard, and more. And for the 90's kids, Netflix is finally bringing some Nickelodeon content your way with the first three seasons of All That and two seasons of Kenan and Kel (a good balm for anyone mourning the loss of the recently cancelled Kenan.)
