The Howard-Winneshiek School District has hired a new high school principal.

The school has announced that a contract has been offered to Lisa Dursky, currently the Middle School and High School ELL Instructor at Dubuque Community School District. She is also an Assistant Professor of Education at Clarke University, and Online Instructor for VIPKID.

Interviews with three finalists were conducted on Monday with Dursky being selected by the School Board to assume the duties of principal at Crestwood High School in Cresco beginning July 1st.

Currently the Superintendent of the South Winneshiek School District, Einck will replace outgoing Superintendent Ted Ihns, who will resign effective June 30th to take over as Superintendent of Indianola Schools.
