The Dallas Mavericks kept the Golden State Warriors from advancing to the NBA Finals by completing a sweep on the Mavs. The Mavericks were able to finally get the best of the Warriors in Game 4, winning comfortably at home.

The Warriors will now try to close the series out in Game 5 while playing against their home crowd. Draymond Green will be hoping to have better luck at the free throw line than he did in Game 4.

During Game 4 of the Warriors-Mavericks Western Conference Finals series, Draymond Green was shooting free throws to try and bring the Warriors back into the game after they fell behind.

Green took one free throw that hit the back of the rim and bounced there till it eventually stopped and got stuck on the rim. All the players began laughing at the incident, and Luka Doncic jokingly congratulated Green and shook his hands over the strange free throw.

Green's bizarre free throw was far from the only noteworthy event last night, as the Mavericks were able to avoid the sweep and push the series at least, to a Game 5 by beating the Warriors.

But the Mavericks will be hoping to do even more, as Luka Doncic said that he will continue to believe that the Mavericks can come back and win the series to reach the NBA Finals.

The Mavericks have a tall task ahead of them, as they will have to win all of their next games to do so. And history is not on their side, as no team has ever been able to overcome a 3-0 deficit in NBA playoff history.

The Mavericks will have to create history to try and reach the NBA Finals. But given how Luka and the Mavs have played throughout this run, that is not out of the picture at all.
