The family of Stephania Dantzler and Miranda and Shanice Dantzler-Williams will speak to the public for the first time since a deadly, deputy-involved crash left the three women dead.
"Stand as One" will host a press conference with the family members outside of the Charleston County Sheriff's Office in North Charleston. Watch the meeting in the player below.
The collision took place along Savannah Highway on Mother's Day, when Deputy Emily Pelletier was responding to a call and collided with a sedan carrying the three women.
At Wednesday's press conference, the family of the women killed in the crash repeatedly called for transparency in the situation.
Darin Dantzler, brother of Stephanie Dantzler, said they have received no information on reports from the Sheriff's Office. "That was my sister and two nieces. Nothing's being said, nothing's being talked about it. We don't have no report of nothing. All we can do right now is assume who was right and who was wrong and we don't think that's fair to us," he said.
Darin said his mother puts a portrait of the crash victims in the living room every morning and takes the portrait into her bedroom every night.
Eric Dantzler, another of Stephanie's brothers, said their mother is beyond heartbroken over the deaths. "It hurts me that I'll leave my mom's house and I ask my mom, 'Does she want me to bring anything back before I leave town?' And she tells me, 'If you could bring them three back, I don't need nothing else,'" he said.
Eric also demanded justice come from the incident.
"Stand as One" has previously asked for more transparency with the investigation into the wreck.
