Someone needs to remind Doug Forcier about his response to “MAGA letter” that the Democrats have controlled the majority in the House and the Senate as well as the White House. So when he states “incoherent” list of Fox News talking points and finger pointing, he needs to open his eyes and see the gridlock in congress is due to “his” own party’s policies that even level-headed Democrats disagree with.

It’s safe to assume he hasn’t watched Fox News and he just gets his “Fox News talking points” from CNN or MSNBC since they tell you what they want you to believe. Maybe one day he will realize the Democrat party isn't helping anyone and only making matters worse. I challenge him to watch any Fox News program from 5-11 p.m. for a week. Then he can research the sources/editors from articles/stories he reads, compare the two and he will see just how “radicalized” Democrats are and how they bring the fake news right to his living room.

How can anyone say the democrats are in charge when their own "democrats" posing as democrats are really republicans. Manchin and Sinema both get a large majority of their donations from republicans. You can even see the republicans lining up to thank them after these so called democrats vote with the republicans on big issues. They are there to sabatage the democrats .There has been a lot of obstructionism in the republican party, but they are fast to take credit when something does benefit their states, even though they voted against something.

Recieving donations from the opposite party should be illegal. Who are they working for? Certainly not the people.

Logicthought

WOW! The democrats are blaming the republicans for their incompetence. Unbelievable! How can you argue that? It all started when John Chafee lost to Frank Licht. At that time, RI population was about 1 million. No income tax. 4% sales tax. No lottery. No casino. No tolls for trucks. Today, there is still about 1 million people in the state. Think about it. Keep voting democrat, you’ll get what you deserve.

CallingOutYourBS

Yikes!! I don't think I've ever read so much deflection contained within one letter. It's ironic how if one replaces "Democrat" with "Republicans" throughout that rant it starts to make perfect sense. The only thing Steve left out was blaming everything on ANTIFA and a few more "radical left's" thrown in.

Lincoln24/7

Yes, because Joe Biden is doing such a bang up job! In case you were curious, this disaster was predicted, too, by the commentators progressives hate so much.

albion123

Still waiting for the your sources there, Lincoln247.

Lincoln24/7

The Democrat party is doing a wonderful job ensuring that we are all equally poor.

Rhode Island is a great place to live, if you feed at the public trough.

albion123

Good gravy, give me a darn break. What the heck are you even talking about? Have you ever watched Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity? They lie non-stop. They lie so much, that Fox's own lawyers argued in court that they aren't news, they're "entertainment".

Not that I expect that you, or the indefatigable "Lincoln247" (Hi Bob!) to even read these links, but hey, a man can dream.

Move to Florida, move to Texas, move somewhere, anywhere but Rhode Island. You don't like it here-- fine-- love it or leave it baby! RI is a blue state, and it's gonna remain a blue state, no matter how much you stamp your feet and whine.

Lincoln24/7

Albion relies on partisian fact checkers to make his case. LOL.

Personally I am not huge fans of Sean or Tucker, but they were right about the fake Russian collusion narrative being peddled by their competitors CNN and MSDNC for 4 years. I do enjoy how Fox News gets under the skin of those who want a monopoly on the narratives, though.

For those of you who care about the truth, both Sean and Tucker are commentators, not news journalists.

They comment on the news. They bring in guests from both sides, unlike CNN and MSDNC. Their opinions have a long track record of being proven right. It is called credibility. There was a time when that meant something in the industry.

There are many credible independent news sources available on the internet that don't push ideological narratives and aren't owned by corporate and partisan interests. Stop letting the activist journalists manipulate your minds.

albion123

Nonsense. You didn't even look at the links. So, it's OK for you to say "Watch FOX news", but it's not OK for me to respond with fact checking by their competitors. What, specifically, is incorrect in my statement? Let's talk about exactly what I posted that's not true. You make a lot of noise about how "fair and balanced" you are, let's do it. What, exactly, is the issue with my above statements, Bob? How are the sources I cited wrong?

Logicthought

Like most liberals who erroneously purport to be kind and caring, albion123 shows the true colors of being viscous. This by constantly trying to expose “Bob.” Albion123 gets real joy out of this crusade, yet doesn’t have the integrity to expose him/her self.

Lincoln24/7

He seems caught up in trying to retaliate against someone personally, or doxing or stalking them, for expressing their opinions in the Breeze. Definitely strange behavior.

albion123

You may want to check the dictionary on what "vicious" means. Also, not sure how you came to the conclusion that I consider myself "kind and caring". Bob knows and I know. I'm not trying to dox anyone, just want to let him know that I know who he is.

Logicthought

Wow. Once again you show your superiority by correcting my spelling. That’s is why liberals know what’s best for everyone. As far as letting “Bob” know that you know who he is, you have done it more than once. That seems to be more than letting him know you know. And what’s the point, to make you feel good? Please check and correct my spelling. It will elevate you in everyone’s eyes.

albion123

Boy, you sure showed me. Next time I'll just spell it incorrectly so your fee-fees aren't hurt. I count myself defeated.

Lincoln24/7

So Albion thinks referring to me as "Bob" is letting me know he knows who I am? That is the most bizarre comment I ever read. He has actually "let me know" 7 times now, not including this latest exchange. This is creepy stuff. Clearly he is attempting to intimidate someone into shutting up with the threat of exposure. I don't think anyone else wastes their time doing that. Who would? I actually feel bad for him as it is pretty sad that this is how he spends his time.

It does raise the question of why people do use an alias, though. Some use it so they won't get doxed by people like Albion who clearly appears to want to harm people who disagree with his extreme views. Others use an alias as cover, to embolden themselves when they attack or (as in this case) threaten others.

I've said it many times now. We should use this forum, provided to us by the Breeze, for constructive dialog, not as a weapon for personal attacks (and now threats). It is no surprise that he also repeatedly wants those who hold different opinions to move out of RI. That speaks volumes for his level of tolerance and is not very constructive.

Logicthought

Boy, I give this great compliment and you think my feelings are hurt. I am so appreciative that you corrected me. Now I’m thinking Biden is doing a bang up job.

Logicthought

We’ll said Lincoln247.

CallingOutYourBS

I have not seen any "attack" or 'threat" made in theses comments. Stop showing the world your Achille's heel by deflecting from what the actual conversation is about and make your points,

Logicthought

Tim. Is calling out “Bob” or correcting my spelling deflecting? I would think it is. Lets be consistent. As a side note, if there is a discussion and the and an opposite view asks questions, all questions should be answered not picked and chosen

albion123

My goodness, what a bunch of nonsense. You guys fail at debate. OK, if Bob does not want to be called Bob anymore, I'll desist. Now, as for your spelling: It's atrocious. Lincoln247: save your pity. I don't need it. I'm just fine. As for using this forum for dialog: where are your sources for your above claims? You seem to be trying really hard to ignore that request.

Source: Pew Research Center

2020 U.S. Deaths by guns 45,222

54 % Suicide - 24,220

43% Murder - 19,446

3% other – 1,357

Of the 43% murders how many were related to other crimes and how many of those murdered were rival gangs, drug dealers, etc. Please provide source.

U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration

2020 Traffic Related Deaths – 38,824

Should we get rid of vehicles?

The real question, (and maybe I misunderstand your view) is, would you want a law that prohibits a citizen who has no criminal record, quaified for a firearm, attended a safety class, and passed a psychological evaluation be prohibited from getting a concealed carry permit?

I still think continuously calling out "Bob" was strange. What was the purpose except to be mean? Glad your going to stop.

albion123

ummm, what are we arguing about here? LOL

Cumberlandish

Sounds like the author favors getting rid of the filibuster in the Senate.

Lincoln24/7

So Democrats can do more harm? No thank you.
