SHENANGO, TWP., Pa. (WKBN) – Troopers are investigating after a woman’s body was found in a ditch Tuesday evening in Shenango Township, Mercer County.
The body was found about 5:45 p.m. on Sharon Bedford Road by Shenango Township police.
PSP said the woman has not yet been identified but she is believed to be 20-30 years old. She is described as having a medium build with shoulder-length hair and was wearing a multi-colored, tie-dyed hooded sweatshirt. She also has a tattoo on her pelvic area.
An autopsy on Thursday will try to figure out how she died and who she was.
Until then, anyone with information about the woman’s identity is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.
