Since Komi Can’t Communicate season 1, it has been somewhat established that Komi likes Tadano, but does Tadano like Komi?

While it shouldn’t be a question for the most obvious reasons, Komi being the most beautiful girl in school, Tadano doesn’t seem the type to just focus on one’s physical attributes.

The two started their friendship when Tadano discovered that Komi has extreme anxiety. She revealed to him that she wanted to make 100 friends despite this, and he didn’t have second thoughts about helping her.

Since then, the two of them started spending time together.

Does Tadano Like Komi in Komi Can't Communicate?

The answer is a simple yes. Tadano clearly likes Komi as he would go to lengths to help her achieve her goal.

By the end of season 1, it was revealed that he is reciprocating her feelings. Season two picks up from there, with Komi slightly giving hints about her feelings.

While there were a lot of cute moments to show how much he likes her, episode 14 of Komi Can’t Communicate gave the most obvious hint of his feelings for Komi.

One scene was when he eavesdropped on a conversation of his classmates who were talking about the person they wanted to date.

The three guys tried to imagine dating Komi as well, which pushed Tadano to do the same. In his imagination, he fast-forwarded it to being married to her. They would eat together, play a game to decide who washes the dishes, and more.

Later in the episode, Tadano declines Komi’s invitation to go to the café with the goal of encouraging her to invite her friends.

He instantly regrets the decision after Onemine sends a photo of Komi with a cute cat. He wonders if he could make the photo his lock screen image.

While the anime is progressing nicely, the manga has already shown the current relationship between the two.
