Luka Doncic had quite a night on Tuesday as the Dallas Mavericks superstar achieved twin feats on what turned out to be a historic evening for him. Doncic not only led the Mavs to a 119-109 victory against the Golden State Warriors in Game 4, but it was also the third time in his career that he was named on the All-NBA first team.

Mavs head coach Jason Kidd spoke out about Doncic's first-team nod and unsurprisingly, the Hall of Fame point guard had nothing but high praise for his superstar:

“What he does for this team is incredible,” Kidd said, via ClutchPoints on Twitter. “… He's our leader, when he goes, we go. He loves that stafe. Being first team, with the other four, it's a great honor for him.”

Doncic joins Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Devin Booker on the 2021-22 All-NBA first team. That's now three straight years of first-team honors for the Mavs guard out of the four seasons he's been in the league.

Dallas will need every bit of Luka's elite skill as they hope to overcome a gargantuan challenge of being down 0-3 against Stephen Curry and the Warriors. The Mavs have already won one game to cut the deficit to 3-1, but it goes without saying that they still have a very long way to go.
