The Nevada Irrigation District (NID) at Scotts Flat Lake recently hosted “No Motor Day,” an annual event where kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and sail boats rule the waters at Scotts Flat. The local sailing club, the Gold County Yacht Club (gcyc.net ) was on hand to offer free sail boat rides anyone who wished to get out on the water.
