New Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill doesn't think the criticism quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has received for his arm strength is fair.

"Tua actually has one of the prettiest balls I've ever caught ... in my life," Hill said Tuesday, according to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network. "Tua is a very accurate QB."

The 28-year-old added: "I'm very confident in my QB ... The sky is the limit for that guy. Heck of a talent. Has crazy arm strength, arm talent."

Hill, arguably the NFL's top big-play weapon, joined Miami this offseason in a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs after catching passes from Patrick Mahomes over the last four seasons. The six-time Pro Bowl wideout will now team up with Tagovailoa, who has struggled with deep throws since entering the league.

Tagovailoa averaged just 7 air yards per pass attempt last season, the third-fewest among starting quarterbacks, according to Next Gen Stats.

The 24-year-old also recorded just 2.3 attempts of at least 20 air yards per game in 13 appearances in 2021.

This isn't the first time Hill has come to Tagovailoa's defense; he recently posted a video of several solid throws by the quarterback after the Dolphins tweeted footage of Tagovailoa underthrowing him at practice earlier in May.

Tagovailoa has appeared in only 23 games since Miami drafted him fifth overall in 2020. The Alabama product completed 67.8% of his passes for 2,653 yards and 16 touchdowns against 10 interceptions in 2021.
