BUCHANAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4:30p.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Volvo semi driven by Jusue M. Amaya, 32, Omaha, was southbound on Interstate 29 just north of Route DD in St. Joseph.
The semi traveled off the east side of the road, struck a guard rail, began to slide and struck the cable barrier.
Buchanan County EMS transported Amaya to Mosaic Life Care. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
