Payton Colbert went 3-for-4 with a double, five RBI and a run to lead top-seeded Egg Harbor, No. 4 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 12-2 win over Gloucester Tech in the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 4 semifinals in Egg Harbor.
Egg Harbor improved to 23-1 and will get a chance to avenge its only loss when it hosts second-seeded Kingsway in the final on Friday. The Dragons edged the Eagles 5-4 on April 27.
Madison Dollard tossed a two-hitter in the semifinals, striking out nine in the five-inning game. Sofia Spatocco had three hits, three RBI and a run.
Aubrey Miller and April Jones singled for GCIT, which fell to 18-9.
