CBS has pulled tonight’s FBI season finale and replaced it with a rerun, in light of Tuesday’s mass shooting at a Texas elementary school.
The FBI Season 4 finale, titled “Prodigal Son” and slated to air at 8/7c, was to center on a school shooting. “As the team investigates a deadly robbery that garnered a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal’s son, who is reluctant to cooperate with the case,” per the official description. No word yet on when or if this episode will air on CBS. Tuesday’s FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted season finales, however, will air as scheduled at 9 pm and 10 pm, respectively.
Earlier on Tuesday, at least 18 children and one teacher were killed when a gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. (The 18-year-old suspect was also killed.) Several others were shot during the incident, including two police officers, and are being treated at local hospitals.
In place of the FBI season finale, CBS will re-air this season’s 12th episode, “Under Pressure,” which originally aired Feb. 1. The official synopsis: “Maggie goes undercover working in a bar to investigate an anti-government group that regularly gathers there and has several members suspected in a series of bombings. The case opens old wounds for her when a single father on the periphery of the group begins to fear he’s in danger of becoming collateral damage.”
Ridiculous
Not really and this has been common place for many years when there’s been distressing/sensitive issues such as school shootings.
great
Fifteen people are dead. Fourteen kids no older than 10 or 11. They’re making the right call not showing this right now. Take a moment for those victims, and their loved ones.
Well said. They did the right thing.
Is your life going to be ruined today because you couldn’t see one episode of a tv show? Because at least a hundred lives were ruined today because of similarities in this specific episode.
Anyone upset by this being pulled is ridiculous
You’re ridiculous. How little do you care about people when you are more upset about a show being pulled when it’ll air on a later date than the death of children?
It’s America. If they pull/hold episodes after every mass/school shooting, no new episodes would ever air. How is a week later any more sensitive. Ugh. Its like buffy the vampire slayer.
“Sadly,” there is a mass/school “situation” all of the time.
If even a delay in a scripted show in recognition and mourning over the RL tragedy of children being targeted and killed in a mas shooting is dismissed as a useless inconvenience by some it signals even more the seriousness of the problem. If one can’t acknowledge a symbolic gesture of concern how can one bring serious discussion to address the real problem?
It’s a tv show – if not seeing this one episode is that much of a problem for you, you are part of the problem! Have some respect for what has happened to these people!
Hmm, because of the concern that the episode will not air AT ALL and you have to wait until off-network syndication reruns to see it?😢
Americans 🙄
No, Republicans/gun nuts. Not Americans as a whole.
Aaaaaaand there it is. 🙄
Dems have passed the legislation. All it would take is a quarter of the GOP to stand up for it, but they, and it seems, YOU, value guns over children’s lives.
But I’m sure you bleat antichoice nonsense and think you’re so pro-life.
Again, the gun killed these poor children, not the person pulling the trigger. You liberals are the ridiculous ones.
This is sarcasm right? The gun didn’t get up, walk itself to a school and open fire
Sit down and be quiet.
Are you serious? A gun can not fire all by itself unless someone pulls the trigger. You sound like some right-wing troll. It was a person who used the gun to kill people, period. What you said was so stupid and beyond ignorant, it dosen’t even warrant being repeated. Don’t even try to politicize this, like you right-wing nuts always do. Just stop it.
Aaaaaaand there the truth.
Said by a guy who’s name was a dirty cop.
again the gun was likely stolen and my guess is social services were called to the house several times
Nope. He purchased it on his 18th birthday. Nice try though. Nobody under 21 should be able to purchase a gun.
How do you feel about sending 18 year-olds off to die in foreign wars?
There’s no draft. Soldiers volunteer to join the military. It’s NOT the same thing.
There has never been a mass shooting where the gunman hadn’t legally purchased the weapon/given to them by parents and has well known mental issues that the people around them chose to ignore.
No, it should not reschedule! Show what schools go thru weekly monthly and all the shootings to the REPUBLICANS! Anybody could buy a gun in a GUN SHOW.. and REPUBLICANS ARE OK WITH THAT.. Now the Republican Governor is sad.. WE AMERICANS SHOULD SEE WHAT PARENTS GO THRU.. WHY HIDE IT FROM US..
I don’t want to get political here cause it never ends well but the Dems (which I am registered as) control the White House, Senate and House and yet gun control hasn’t improved. Sadly both parties fail us.
Lol they don’t control jack squat when the Republicans hold the Supreme Court
What are you talking about? The Supreme Court doesn’t make laws. That falls to the legislative bodies. The Supreme Court isn’t in the way of taking away guns. The Constitution is.
Republicans are against background checks. Republicans are against gun registration.
Republicans are for any gun being made available at any time to anyone, everywhere.
And Republicans don’t want to have any discussion about the topic, ever. They just point at the Second Amendment and offer up thoughts and prayers with a shrug and a campaign button to the parents of dead kids.
.
Explain the need anyone would have for more than a single handgun. Explain why Republicans’ first answer to gun violence is for more people to have more guns.
.
If every attempt to have a discussion about making things better is blocked or dismissed as “politicizing a tragedy,” then it’s not about the Second Amendment. It’s just about wanting to shoot things that disagree with you.
yeah and how did those gun laws in new york work oh wait the young man lied on his form saying he never was held in a mental ward, which under new york’s red flag laws he isn’t allowed to buy a gun, as if you’re held in a mental ward for any period of time they take away you’re 2nd ammendment rights
Every gun I’ve purchased included a background check.
@That Guy – what you stated in great detail is why people who don’t live in America just shake their heads in disgust at the lives lost. Every country deals with the same issues, mental health, poverty, racism, crime, climate change, etc. BUT ONLY America has mass killings on the regular. People offer thoughts and prayers and then don’t do a damn thing to change the gun laws, which I will NEVER understand in my lifetime.
Couldn’t agree more!!!
I agree with some of what you say. I mean I don’t live in your messed up country but I get the whole Republicans are bad thing and I think what you are saying is meant to be positive towards gun control. The problem is when you say why would anyone need more than one handgun? Why the ***k would anyone need A handgun at all. That’s the issue with America. You feel it’s your right to have a gun because of some archaic set of rules written by a bunch of old white guys. Funny old white guys are still making all the rules in your country, seems to be working out great lol. Anyway you can try to rip this however you want but guns were created for one purpose only, to kill. Oh no we just love to use them for target practice. If that was the case they wouldn’t come with bullets . To kill, that’s it whether it’s an animal or a human, they are made to kill. Other countries aren’t perfect, people are terrible straight up or mentally ill without the resources to help so mass murder happens everywhere- just not anywhere close to the frequency it happens in the states. We don’t ever hear about most of the shootings in your country which is unfathomable as most countries make national news with any of this type of crime. With the complete stupidity of the American public supporting it. The world has been watching you make changes with protests for the last few years but you refuse to protest this. You as a people are partially responsible for this and the fact that you refuse you acknowledge that there is an enormous problem is sad and pathetic. I see a lot of this is awful and our government is responsible, but just as many say we have the right to bear arms. I truly think you are doomed as a nation until you start to recognize the root of your problems. Too bad you will probably bring yourselves the rest of your allies down with you before that ever happens. Not necessarily directed at you specifically but my point is that you are as much a part of the problem as those Republicans you complain about.
@Ally – I don’t own a handgun. I don’t feel I need a gun. I don’t want a gun. I personally would LOVE for there to be a ban on guns.
.
Unfortunately, I acknowledge that many people want a gun for self-defense. And, as the Republicans like to scream and point about, it is a right granted by the Constitution. Rounding up and taking away all the guns is an extreme and unrealistic idea, the opposite end of the spectrum from “everybody needs MORE guns,” and listening to the extreme ends of the spectrum is just going to lead to more of the same.
.
So while I personally think we’d all be better off without guns, that’s just not gonna happen. There are too many powerful forces with too much money behind them, and too many ingrained feelings about guns in this country, to think about eliminating them altogether, for better or worse. There will have to be a compromise, which the Republicans will not even seriously entertain.
.
Which leads me to my original question: Explain the need anyone would have for more than a single handgun. If you want home protection, fine. But there is no logical reason for any private citizen to own an assault rifle, let alone more than one assault rifle. Or a sniper rifle. Or anything other than a single handgun.
.
Dialing up the gun rhetoric hasn’t done anyone any good except for the CEOs at Remington and their fellow gun manufacturers. Thoughts and prayers are worthless. How many times do we have to go through something like this before everyone gets the idea that actual action is needed, not empty campaign sound bites and flag-waving toxic patriotism?
Exactly! That’s all the republicans ever do is scream and yell, “Nobody’s taking away our guns!” literally every damn time the subject of gun control comes up. And they always cave in to the gun lobbyists because the NRA supported their campaigns whenever they run for office. At least that used to be the case before the NRA’s leadership imploded under accusations of the head man embezzeling money from the organization. People need to get rid of this stupid idea (pushed by right-wing whackjobs) that gun control means “taking away anybody’s guns.” All it means is putting restrictions on certain types of guns, and there needs to be a lot more enforcement when it comes to preventing mentally ill people from getting guns. And you’re right—more guns are not the solution to these school shootings. Trying to prevent guns from getting into the hands of mentally ill people should be a thing enforced to prevent incidents like this from happening. But, nope, the repubs and gun right nuts want to keep on acting like any mere mention of gun control is this so-called “assault” on the rights of gun owners, which is some pure BS. It’s really sickening.
Guns laws are not the problem it’s Mental Health that the Dems don’t want to bring up or talk about.
@Joe Petitjean:
.
If you and your kind acknowledge racism, bigotry, and the constant need to shoot things as a means to proclaim your superiorty as “mental health issues,” then we can start the conversation with how to limit the mentally ill’s access to guns.
.
Until then, stop deflecting because you’re too cowardly to deal with the problem.
This current would just says “2nd amendment’ and side with the guns (and really they’d never hear a case).
I hear you. I wish they would at least write up something and take it to the floor, even though the Senate GOP would probably filibuster it.
again how about enforcing laws on the books as in new york they have red flag laws and if a person is in a mental ward they can’t buy a gun
They don’t really have control of the Senate with the filibuster still in place. More like no one has control.
Yep. When it comes to an hot issue such as this, it’s going to be hard to get anything to pass because one side doesn’t have a great enough majority to prevent a filibuster and can’t get enough support from the other side. It’s the kids who pay, along with their families and friends.
During Obama’s time, I believe Dems did in fact have enough votes and still didn’t do crap to end this. So will they ever or do they just use it as a platform come election time? It is really sad. Being blindly faithful to any one side is wrong until they prove they will actually do anything.
First two years of Obama he had the house and Senate that the Dems had control of. That’s how he passed the bad Health care bill. Dems use Guns as a talking point for there base.
That’s not true. Every time the Dems have tried to get a gun control law passed, the repubs vote against it. It’s their fault that there haven’t been any real gun control laws passed in the last decade. So stop lying and claiming that this is the Dems’ fault. It’s the republicans who are always making gun rights an issue, not the Dems. Get your facts straight, and stop demonizing the Dems over it.
actually no they just don’t enforce the laws they have as again the buffalo shooter lied on his form to buy a gun that he hadn’t been in a mentalinstitution, and unlike some states new york does have red flag laws and one of them that disqualifies you from buying a gun is being held in a mental ward
Dems have a barely majority in the Senate, dependent on Manchin/Sinema.
What’s your brilliant idea to get them onboard with legislation?
As I said, I myself am a Dem so no need to get hostile so quickly.
Have Manchin and Sinema publicly stated they’d be against legislation on guns? Have the Dems actually presented anything that has been voted down in this congress?
That’s not quite how it works. There’s a bill that has been sitting there for two years regarding stricter background checks-that the House passed(HR 1446). But of course it sits on the Senate floor. Because Dems hold a very slim lead in the Senate, all it took was for 2 Dems to vote against it.
Wait it can’t be both things. Is it still sitting on the senate floor or was it voted on and didn’t pass?
Democrats only hold half of all seats in the Senate. To pass any law, a two-thirds majority of senators will need to vote in favor of it or go through a filibuster.
Every bill that goes through the Lower House dies on the Senate floor.
How many more children have to die before the Republicans back Gun control measures? This happens way too often and its heartbreaking for everyone, more so for the parents of these poor kids.
again how about enforcing the laws already on the books, as new york has red flag laws, and they could’ve stopped the young man from buying a gun, because he was in a mental ward but oh wait that would require democrats enforcing laws already on the books
Do “democrats” control the police force? Nope
No they want to do away with the police force by defunding the police. So only criminals have the guns. This is on the Democrats for crying gun control. If this wasn’t legally designated a gun free area & someone who was registered for conceal carry had his legal gun then he or she could have taken this nut case down sooner. So do we want no guns in the hands of properly trained people or guns in the hands of criminals only. Your choice. This shouldn’t be a Demoncrat thing or a Republican thing, This issue should be a human thing. Gun control is not the answer. Gun enforcement is. Help fund & support the police & help those who are trained for legal conceal carry help protect us who can’t carry a weapon. As a father & a grandfather, my heart goes out to those families affected by this nut job. As a retired military veteran my support goes out to those who protect us & keep us safe to the best of their ability. Let us help them to be able to do their jobs, not tie their hands behind their backs & then blame it on gun control.
For your information, the “defund the police” issue was created by black activists during the BLM movement, not Democrats–let’s get that straight. Read up on that and stop making assumptions. “Defunding the police” has never meant just taking everything from them that makes them work. If you read about how the defunding thing (which only one or two police depts in the entire country have actually done to date) it could actually work. And more guns in the streets is not the damn solution to everything—there’s already enough guns out there. America is way too damn obsessed with guns, and it is way too damn easy for mentally ill people to get guns. That’s the main problem right there. This “good guy with a gun” idea only works in the movies, and is just some stupid macho fantasy. In fact, just a couple of months, there was a situation where a man who wasn’t a police officer chased down and shot a criminal—but guess what? The cops ended up shooting and killing him because they thought he was the criminal! Just because you have a gun and know how to shoot, that dosen’t automatically mean you’re qualified to play cop and take down a criminal with it. And police departments get more than enough funding as it is—-nobody is actually “defunding” them.
It will probably require shootings where their children go to school
You sound like a lovely person with this attitude. /s
Except they’re not wrong. Last year the governor of Texas signed a law that allowed Texans to carry guns without a license or training.
.
All this blood is on the GOP’s hands. That is a fact. Deal with it.
The NRA has most Republican politicians in their pockets if you follow the money. So many have had millions from the NRA over the years. Their ‘thoughts and prayers’ platitudes mean nothing when they continuously block gun reform bills etc and cry about it being a ‘far left democrat’ plot to take your guns away.
Problem is that Republicans have seen this footage. Over and over and over and over and over AND OVER again, every single damn time a tragedy like this happens. And it’s well past blatantly clear that they just do not care. They’re running political ads right now bragging about how they’ll end BIden’s “abortion agenda”, whatever the hell that means, while in the very same breath proclaiming they’ll defend people’s Second Amendment rights. ‘Cause they’re so very pro-life and Christian, you see. Jesus would totally be all about the guns, as we all know. /s
.
Nope, apparently people getting massacred in public spaces, children being shot in schools, that’s just the price we have to pay for our freedom, I guess. But hey, at least they’ll offer up the usual “thoughts and prayers’, and all that, before they go back to focusing on their stupid culture war nonsense and their continued spreading of dangerous misinformation and lies, as a means to try and distract everyone from the fact they have no plans or policies that would help us tackle any of the actual issues that are worth addressing.
yeah and the gun was likely stolen and oh this kid probably had mental problems, and oh in buffalo, they have red flag laws, how’d they work, oh wait they didn’t because the young man lied on his form to purchase a gun as again we don’t need more gun laws we need the laws on the books enforced but oh that would require democrats doing there job and oh for all those complaininng about why haven’t democrats passed gun control, as in 2009-10, they could’ve passed whatever laws they wanted, candidates having to show there tax documents, gun reform, any laws they wanted as in 09-10, they actually had 60 votes
You got that right, unfortunately.
I feel like this happens often, like when they pulled that New Amsterdam episode that was about a pandemic right as covid was starting. It’s kind of eerie.
FOX’s series 24 had the premiere of its first episode, which was originally scheduled to air just a few weeks after 9/11, delayed an additional week because it contained a plot line (plus a scene they deleted) about blowing up a jumbo jet
It is the right decision. I wonder if they’ll just maybe move it to next season and air it as the season premiere.
Yep. Sign of respect for the families and friends impacted by the tragedy and prevents huge backlash for not being sensitive. I remember when Buffy pulled an episode (Earshot) after a school shooting. They wound up airing it over the summer.
I think you’re on to something but I don’t think they’d air it as the season premiere because of Missy Peregrym maternity leave. They could air late summer or even the week before season 5 starts.
The President is going to address the nation tonight 8:15 pm eastern, regarding the shooting. So that’s probably another reason the episode was pulled.
I think it was pulled prior but it did make it easier for them as they could just pre-empt their repeat and keep their other finales on track. Since comments are closed on the other ones, for anyone wondering, FOX and ABC picked up where things left off after Biden’s speech. Young Rock had a portion pre-empted in favor of not messing up the This Is Us finale schedule. If you’re east coast or central time zones and had DVR’d Young Rock, your first of two eps should be fine and then catch the other one – the finale – online. CW wasn’t new anyway.
No one cares what that old leftie hag talks. Your gun laws are joke in States. This news didn`t suprise me at all. Bunch of wackos! Even Putin won`t allow madness like this.
It is definitely the right call especially since it will likely air the episode at a later point(even if one wants to be cynical and think it’s being done to avoid bad PR) and has plenty of precedent. Just a few past examples—Buffy the Vampire Slayer pulled 2 episodes entirely due to parallels to the Columbine shootings. American Horror Story pulled one because of the massacre in Las Vegas that killed 60 people .Friends pulled one in which Chandler joked about a bomb in an airport because the Sept 11 tragedy happened a week before.Mr Robot pulled an episode that showed a man killing 2 newscasters while they were on air because a newscaster in RL committed suicide on air.Even Hannibal pulled an episode about children being trained to kill after the Sandy Hook school killings.
I support this decision 100%! Good on CBS!
I think it’s very considerate of CBS for pulling the episode on the FBI in light of what took place today and it’s wonderful.
Some insensitive assholes. 18 babies and two adults are gone. People:s lives are broken and people are complaining about a TV show not airing.
Almost Karma in several aspects. The title really upset me because FOX had cancelled Prodigal Son series…I loved that show.
In a country where a kinder egg is not allowed cause the toy inside might just might choke a child you can however purchase military grade weapons and for sure go and kill a lot of them it’s behond my comprehension
CBS made the right choice on FBI not showing that episode due the horror of the Texas school shooting today ! Prayers go out to the families of those lost and I doubt that episode will ever air either ! FBI will return in the fall as well as the international version which I like too! 🙏🙏🙏
I honestly don’t know what’s worse the tragedy of what occurred today or the few nitwits on here doing their usual political agenda to start a fight. This is why I rarely come here anymore Democrats AND Republicans share the blame and neither side is helping. Why don’t you go to the people who lost everything today and give your “views” on where blame should fall? Think that will give them comfort? Nah, me either…..
Share the blame? Not on this subject, they don’t. The Dems are always trying to push more sensible controls laws, but the republicans never want to pass a single damn one, because they’re more concerned with pandering to their gun-owning base, and getting their campaign donations from the NRA. That’s why these laws never pass, and that’s why nothing changes concerning this subject. It’s despicable.
Right decision
Hat’s off to CBS for making the right move. Let’s pray for the victims and families in Uvalde.
Proud of CBS for pulling it run it during the summer or the week leading into next season.
The last 13 minutes of the new episode would’ve been preempted anyway, for the President to speak about the school shooting.
Today is the 145th day of the year and we have already had 212 mass shootings. These shows have to address and have episodes like this. The nature of this country though it may never be an appropriate time to show it because there’s always a fresh massacre
Not a good way to end a season to begin with. Sorry, but I think that fictionalizing school shootings should be like the third rail, don’t touch it. But then I stopped watching the FBI back when it was a Quinn Martin production. if i want a politics beat down I’ll tune into Fox news or MSNBC. I don’t need lectures from Dick Wolf. When L&O went political was when he lost me as a viewer.
By the way the amount of disinformation being spewed in the comments about what political partys think or do is mind blowing. Cars kill people, guns kill people, NO they don’t. Neither has sentience or will…People kill people. There is a mental health crisis in this country . It’s not even discussed because of the stigma attached to the label..that’s where this death and destruction comes from. That and the constant of diminishing and reviling your neighbor whom you turn to an adversary because your politics doesn’t agree with theirs. You all cant even be civil to each other in a forum about TV shows. No wonder the country is a mess. Stop the recriminations and start thinking about the solution that goes deeper than at the surface. Banning guns isnt a solution, criminals dont care. Proper mental health screening and gun training and licensure is. Having a federal bureaucracy that actually does its job would be nice too. As we know the background check system has failed us repeatedly. Thats not on gun owners, thats on our inept federal government.
That inept federal government features the FBI. See Sussmann trial.
Except most mentally ill people aren’t violent, so there goes the “It’s the mental illness!” argument. And even those that are, when we have people refusing to support creating a better healthcare system that could actually help the mentally ill, the “It’s a mental health issue” argument rings all the more hollow. Besides that, many other countries have people that are mentally ill, and yet they do not have anywhere near the amount of mass shootings as the U.S. does.
.
At some point, we have to start actually putting the blame on the guns, We’ve tried blaming video games, TV, movies, mental health, everything under the sun BUT THE ACTUAL WEAPON THAT MURDERED THESE PEOPLE. It’s time we put our focus where it belongs, on the deadly weapons that far too many people in this country have access to, and start getting serious about trying to keep them out of the public’s hands.
.
And to anyone who keeps trying to bring up the car comparison, first off, cars were not designed as killing machines. Cars have a non-violent purpose. Guns don’t. Second, cars are also regulated and people have to go through a variety of steps and tests and such before they’re allowed to drive and own one. And if they do hurt or kill somebody with a car, they get held accountable for it, and denied the opportunity to drive again if they’ve proven themselves a dangerous driver. So yeah, maybe we should treat people’s access to guns the way we treat people’s access to cars.
While I understand and agree with your point about the silly car equivalency, most states do have some type of gun safety testing and background checks. In my state, you have to have a hunter’s safety course to be able to get a hunting license. And, if you are caught committing a firearm violation (like poaching or hunting on private property, for example), you are fined, and your firearm is taken away. You lose your future hunting license privileges as well, and can even be jailed, depending on the severity.
And people aren’t always held accountable for hitting and killing someone with a car. I can speak from personal experience. My father was killed by a hit and run driver and got a slap on the wrist. But, overall, I get your point and agree with it. Apples to oranges comparison.
Tell that apples to orange comparisons to the the Wakasha parade dead and injured. Those people were mowed down by an SUV. Mutilated, murdered. No one wants to be shot or hit by a vehicle. They can both do the same damage to the victims and those who witness or are left behind to grieve.
I was agreeing that cars weren’t created to kill, but guns are. I know what you’re saying about the parade incident (just like the one in France). The same can be said for planes being used as bombs, like they were on 9/11. The gun/car comparison is apples to oranges in that regard. Planes and cars were created for transport, not for killing, so comparisons are unfair. I have personally experienced a car being used to kill someone, but that doesn’t negate the fact that cars are not weapons. Most objects can kill someone in extreme circumstances, but that is not their original use.
The actual weapon that murdered people was a human being. Be it driving a SUV in Wakasha, or brandishing a gun in TX. You can kill with a tire iron a baseball bat, a knife , a balloon full of fentanyl dust. Its the will of the human perpetrator, that dictates the finale. The delivery is just their methodology. And yes I said that licensure is the best way to control guns use. It will not stop criminals just like the drunk driver with he suspended license who still gets behind the wheel. Its will still happen, simply because these people dont care to begin with.
You have to agree though that people who commit these acts are obviously mentally ill. A normal person doesn’t go to a school, grocery store or movie theater and start shooting people. Most of the people I know own a gun, but none of them have gone out and killed anyone. To me, the biggest problem is how to keep the guns out of the hands of people who have mental issues. I’m 100% for our health care system focusing on mental health as well. We don’t do near enough to help the mentally ill. I like the red flag laws, but there are a bunch of law enforcement folks who stubbornly refuse to enforce them. They feel it takes away someone’s rights, which just seems nuts.
When there is gun violence here, I always think about Switzerland, where 2 million people own guns (out of 8.3 million citizens). All men 18-34 who are fit for service are in the military and given a pistol. But yet, their murder rate is low. The only difference is training, so perhaps that is what’s needed to curb violence. It’s a stunning contrast between the two countries and one that should be looked into. We could maybe learn something from them. I think the biggest problem is that no one seems to know or agree on what causes these acts of violence. It’s not one thing or another, so it’s hard to pin down one thing to blame.
Okay….so i watched the episode and I understand why it was pulled. It was a good decision by the network considering what just happened. RIP to those poor babies and the teachers.
The gun did not commit this atrocity, the person did. Once we realize that the need to address mental health issues is paramount and bein overlooked. The signs are there but people have to be taught to recognize them. this person was not mentally stable and no one noticed that. Perfect example. Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the country and the highest murder rate. Maine, the state, has the most lenient gun laws and last year only 4 murders. So let’s outlaw all guns and then hope that someone does not buy an illegal one on the street!
Yes this!
When will the postponed episode be shown?
Thank you cbs for being considerate of peoples feelings
