Funeral Service for Carl James Ducote, Sr. of Cottonport will take place at Escude’ Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, May 26, 2022 with Rev. John Wiltse officiating.

Carl Ducote, Sr., age 63, passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Samantha Ducote (Walter Deville) of Pine Prairie and Carl Ducote, Jr.; sisters, Mary Drouin of Hessmer, Mable LaCrouix of Evergreen, Jeanette Aymond Toureau of Hessmer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gage Ducote, Kadence Ducote and Krislyn Lacombe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elster James and Rita Francois Ducote; sisters, Daisy Daigrepont, Joyce Larmeu, and Faye Ann Ducote.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 in Escude’ Funeral Home of Cottonport.
