Lego, the famous toy company from Denmark, has announced a miniature Technic kit of the breathtakingly beautiful Ferrari Daytona SP3. Although there have been multiple leaks online about the toy supercar, there is now an official statement from Lego that states the price which is €/$399.99, and it will officially go on sale in June 2022.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 Lego Technic kit is comprised of 3,778 pieces. After the 488 GTE Lego, which launched back in 2020, the Daytona SP3 is another attempt to make Ferraris more attainable, but in the form of a 23-inch-long toy.

To make things as realistic as possible, the 1:8 scale Technic model possesses a working V-12 engine with moving pistons, an eight-speed sequential gearbox with paddle-shifters, and silver-colored wheels. The exterior is very similar to the original Daytona SP3, with the Prancing Horse on the lower front bumper. The butterfly doors open as they do on the original car, and the interior has been recreated to grab more attention.

When you get everything in the right place, the Lego Daytona SP3 will stand 5.5 inches high, 9.5 inches wide, and will be 23 inches long. The original Daytona SP3 measures 184.5 inches in length, 80.7 inches in width, and 45 inches in height.

The Daytona SP3 is a $2.25 million supercar with only 599 examples to be produced. The 6.5-liter engine puts out a whopping 829 horsepower while driving the rear wheels only. The Daytona SP3 can do 0-62 in 2.85 seconds, which is bonkers quick, and while it accelerates to higher speeds, the V-12 symphony is unmatched.

Now, back to the toy, the Lego Daytona SP3 will be available from June 1, 2022, exclusively in Lego stores worldwide. It will reach other retailers by August 1, 2022. The price has been set to €/$399.99 (or £349.99 in the U.K.).
