A crash on Interstate 490 near the Route 531 split Tuesday afternoon is under investigation.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, a sedan hit an exit sign and a guardrail, then left the road and struck two light poles.

The 31-year-old male driver from Churchville was not injured.

Traffic was impacted for some time while deputies investigated and a tow truck worked to remove the vehicle.

The sheriff's office says drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
