There have been quite a few head-turning beauty moments on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. From Helen Mirren's blue hair to outfit-completing hair accessories, we've been served several mood-board-worthy looks. But with quite a few days left of the festival, one trend that's making its rounds early is milk-bath nails.

After leaving its mark on last year's festivities, the popular manicure is clearly still a favorite. It's been the manicure of choice for stars like Laura Harrier, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Caroline Duar alike. Milk-bath nails typically involve using acrylic powder and embedding colorful dried flowers into it to create that soft, submerged look. However, many people opt to skip the floral element altogether in the modernized version, and just wear the hazy-white shade by itself. This is the route that most of this year's Cannes attendees took, and the result is a flawless manicure, every single time.

The trend has also been a popular engagement nail. Simone Biles and Nicola Peltz Beckham announced their engagement and got married, respectively, while wearing milk-bath nails. Additionally, Jennifer Lopez very appropriately wore the nail look while promoting her romantic-comedy movie "Marry Me."

If you're in the mood to try your hand at the milk-bath-manicure trend, we rounded up some of the best iterations from the Cannes Film Festival ahead.
