UPDATE:
NAPIER FIELD, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man has been arrested for assaulting a police officer.
Dale County Sheriff’s say a Napier Field officer responded to a domestic incident on the 100 block of Single Street and while investigating was hit multiple times by Bilal Kelly, according to police.
The officer then fired a round from his gun, but no one was hit and the suspect then fled the area.
The Napier Field Police Chief then came in contact with Kelly, when Kelly once again fled the area.
The chief then came in contact with Kelly a second time, pulled out his taser, and was able to arrest Kelly.

NAPIER FIELD, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man has been arrested for assaulting a police officer.
Balil Kelly, 28, of Dothan has been arrested and charged with second-degree assault and resisting arrest.
According to the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, Kelly assaulted a Napier Field police officer.
Kelly is currently in the Dale County Jail with no bond set.
