(WEAA)— A massive recall is getting most of the blame for the baby formula shortage in parts of the country.

It started off as an inconvenience but has since turned into a national crisis.

Formula has been hard to find since suspected contamination led to the recall and the shuttering of a manufacturing plant in Michigan.

Howard County Health Officer Dr. Maura Rossman and Baltimore County Health Officer Dr. Gregory Branch join Dr. Kaye to share advice and local resources available for families impacted by the shortage.

U.S. Congressman Kweisi Mfume also joins Dr. Kaye to weigh in on the crisis and to discuss the Access to Baby Formula Act.
