Jazz in the City public health concert series returning to Syracuse this summer

SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
Jazz in the City is coming back to Syracuse this summer.

The public health concert series will bring live Jazz music, food vendors, health screening, and COVID-19 vaccinations and testing to locations around Syracuse.
The event kicks off on Thursday, June 9, and will run every other Thursday through August 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Jazz in the City is once again partnering with the Syracuse Community Health Center to increase vaccination rates in the city.
Performances will include:
- Urban Jazz Coalition at Kirk Park on June 9
- 3D Rhythm of Life at Skiddy Park on June 23
- Atlas at Leavenworth Park on July 7
- Deepak Thettu & Judah Sealy at Schiller Park on July 21
- U.A.D & The Blacklites at Dunk & Bright on August 4
- Paula Atherton at Thorndon Park on August 18
The events will also feature free goodie bags, COVID test kits, scratch-off prizes, and guest speakers.
