Update Via 5/24 10:12 a.m. — Hennepin County 911 phone lines have been restored, according to the Crystal Police Department.

The 911 phone lines in Hennepin County are currently out of service, and the county is working on getting them back up, according to authorities.

The Plymouth Police Department took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to share the news for residents searching for assistance.

If you are in need of emergency services, call the 24-hour non-emergency number at 952-258-5321 or your city's police department directly.

The Crystal Police Department has shared that text to 911 is working, and those seeking emergency services can find assistance there as well.

The department also shared that residents should not call the number to test if it is working as this could delay the process of getting the lines back up and working.

This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
