The Moore County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they said pulled out a rifle during a child custody exchange and fired at a vehicle.
Rolando Alfonso Rodriguez-Urbina is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more.
The victims told deputies they were at 5865 FM 281 for a child custody exchange.
During the exchange, the stepfather of the children became agitated with the biological father and grabbed a rifle from inside his vehicle.
According to the sheriff's office, Rodriguez-Urbina fired his gun striking the biological dad's vehicle.
Fortunately, no one was injured and the three victims were able to leave the scene.
The victims drove to the Cactus Police Department.
A short time later, deputies made a traffic stop and arrested Rodriguez-Urbina.
