Why Stassi Schroeder cut some ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars from her wedding

Stassi Schroeder shared her side of why certain “Vanderpump Rules” stars were cut or never invited at all to her wedding in Italy.

The former reality star revealed in Monday’s episode of the “Skinny Confidential Him & Her” podcast that her firing from the Bravo series played a role in trimming the guest list.

“It was supposed to be on ‘Vanderpump Rules,’” Schroeder, 33, said of the nuptials, noting she and Clark, 42, once brought a producer from the show with them to tour what would end up being their venue.

“I couldn’t just go wedding plan myself with Beau.”

Given she was fired from the reality show in June 2020 after allegedly calling the police on Faith Stowers, the only black cast member to appear, in 2018, the network ultimately pulled the funds for the luxe ceremony.

“Bravo didn’t pay for this s–t,” Schroeder shared on the podcast. “[We had to] cut 70 percent of the guest list because it’s too expensive. Now it is a 35-person wedding in Rome in a location that’s meant for a s–t ton of people.”

The only “Vanderpump” stars to attend the nuptials were Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, who are going through a divorce, though Schroeder claimed the others took the news well.

“Honestly, everyone’s been pretty understanding,” she said, admitted she had been “cutthroat” with her former castmates. “We sent out an email, like, ‘Yo, times are tough, we can’t have a 200-person wedding. This doesn’t mean that we don’t like you, but you’re not part of my 35 top people.’”

Page Six exclusively reported that among the disinvited was Scheana Shay. Meanwhile, Tom Sandoval never received an invitation from the get-go.

“Scheana was originally supposed to go, but at some point she got disinvited,” a source at Shay’s live podcast taping a couple of weeks ago told us. “All she knew was that it was for ‘budget reasons,’ although it didn’t really seem like she was buying it.”

Schroeder and Clark, who share 1-year-old daughter Hartford, legally married in September 2020 before their Italian celebration earlier this month.
