VIDEO: NYPD seek woman who struck Bronx bartender in head with bottle

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released video footage looking to identify a woman wanted for throwing a bottle at a bartender inside of a Bronx bar last week, authorities said.

The incident happened at approximately 3:40 a.m. on Friday, March 11, inside of a bar located at 119 East 233 St. in Woodland Heights, the NYPD said.

Officials said the suspect threw a bottle striking a 22-year-old woman in the head.

The individual fled the scene to parts unknown.

The victim sustained a cut to her head and traveled by private means to Montefiore Medical Center.
