Upstate roadways continue to be treacherous as a crash last week has now turned fatal. The single vehicle wreck happened around 1:15 last Wednesday afternoon on Pearman Dairy Road about a mile south of Anderson.

Corporal Joe Hovis of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a Kia ran off the road, hit a ditch and overturned. The driver suffered severe injuries and died Monday at an area hospital. It's the 8th reported traffic fatality in the Upstate since last Friday.
