CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Delegate Charlie Reynolds, R-Marshall, recently presented a $5,000 grant to the Ohio Valley Super Kids Derby.
Reynolds, who was first elected to the Legislature in 2020, was able to secure the funds through the Legislature’s one-time fairs and festivals funding.
“These grant dollars will help kids with special needs have a soap box race. The fund will help with the future track for the kids. This is a great festival and race for the Marshall County,” Reynolds said, Soon we will see children with special needs coming from all over Wv. to Marshall County to race.”
Reynolds also donated a West Virginia Car to be raced.
Reynolds is a Moundsville native who serves on several committees in the House of Delegates:
Energy and Manufacturing, Government Organization, Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security as well as Workforce Development.
