Amal Clooney dazzles in a red floral strapless dress as she arrives for The Prince's Trust Awards in London with her mother Baria Alamuddin

Amal Clooney made a glamorous arrival at The Prince's Trust Awards in London on Tuesday afternoon.

The 44-year-old human rights attorney attended the Theatre Royal Drury Lane ceremony with her mother Baria Alamuddin, an award-winning journalist and broadcaster 

Amal, who is married to George Clooney, wowed in a chic red and white floral dress for the ceremony sponsored by TKMaxx and Homesense.

Amal put on a summery display despite the London downpours, matching the red carpet in her red floral dress.

She added white heels and a matching clutch bag and completed her look with a dash of scarlet lipstick.

Amal posed on the red carpet with her chic mother Baria, who coordinated with her daughter in tailored white trousers and a matching off-the-shoulder top, 

Amal has a long-standing relationship with The Prince's Trust alongside her husband George.

In 2019 the trust launched a new global award celebrating the achievements of inspirational young women around the world.

The Amal Clooney Award sponsored by Charlotte Tilbury highlights the work of young women who have succeeded against the odds to make a lasting difference in their communities, with Amal personally selecting the winners. 

This year's Prince's Trust Awards will air on ITV and ITV Hub for the very first time. 

In the presence of Founder and President of The Prince’s Trust HRH The Prince of Wales, this year will mark the eighteenth year of the Awards, which celebrate the extraordinary achievements of young people supported by the charity.

The Prince’s Trust Awards will be hosted by Ant & Dec who will be joined by a host of stars from film, television, music and sport.

While Amal was in London on Tuesday her husband was filming down the River Thames at The Molesey Boat Club in Surrey.

George has been shooting in the area for the past few weeks, directing his new movie The Boys In The Boat, about an Olympic gold medal-winning rowing team.

The awards will take place in May and will be available to watch on 26th May at 20:30 on ITV and the ITV Hub.
