STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Several runs of the Staten Island Railway have been cancelled or changed from express to all stops during the Tuesday morning rush hour.
Staff shortages are to blame, according to the MTA.
Some affected runs include:
- 8:21 a.m. from Great Kills to St George cancelled;
- 7:51 a.m. and 8:06 a.m. from Great Kills to St George cancelled;
- 8 a.m. from Tottenville to St George will make all local stops;
- 7:46 a.m. from St. George to Great Kills will make all local stops;
- 7:48 a.m. from St George to Great Kills cancelled;
- The 7 a.m. from Huguenot to St. George cancelled;
- The 6:45 a.m. from Huguenot to St George cancelled;
- 6:30 a.m. from Huguenot to St George cancelled;
- 6:30 a.m. from Tottenville to St George will make all local stops.
“We’re operating as much service as we can with the crews we have available,” said a Twitter post from the MTA.
