WASHINGTON, Ill. – A man from Indiana is dead following a Saturday night crash in rural Tazewell County.
Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley says James Bachman, 76, of Fisher, Indiana died, based on an autopsy, of multiple blunt force injuries caused by the crash.
Not much else has been released about the two-vehicle crash, except that it happened just before 8:00 p.m. on U.S. 24 and Dee-Mack Road, in-between Washington and Eureka. He was pronounced dead about two and a half hours later.
Toxicology results on Bachman are pending.
