PlayStation Plus June Freebies Include 140 PS4, PS5 Games

Yes, you read that right

We're now mere weeks away from the launch of the all-new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers here in the UK, and subscribers old and new are keen to see what they're getting in exchange for some of their hard-earned cash,

Sony already announced a portion of the new PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, PS4, and PS5 last week, but we know there's more to come. And now that the service has rolled out in Asia, we have some idea of what to expect.

Take a look at some of our very favourite PlayStation 4 games below!

All three tiers will grant PlayStation 5 owners to the PlayStation Plus Collection, a lineup of some of the best PS4 games that was first released back in 2020 alongside the new-gen console. It's an impressive selection made up of S-tier exclusives like Bloodborne and God Of War, and is not to be sniffed at.

The Extra and Premium tiers, however, offer an additional 140 PS4 and PS5 games that include a mix of AAA greats and must-play indies. It's nowhere near the size of Xbox Game Pass' library, of course, but it's a good starting point for a service that Sony will no doubt be adding to regularly.

If you want to see the full list, you can head right on over to ResetEra where they've helpfully been compiled in alphabetical order.

Highlights include Marvel's Spider-Man, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 4, Hollow Knight, Outer Wilds, and Red Dead Redemption 2. But there are plenty more for subscribers to sink their teeth into. Dare I suggest there's something for everyone? No. I'm not willing to stick my neck out that far.

One thing to note is that the Asia lineup may end up being slightly different from the UK one, so just be aware that not every game on the current list is 100% guaranteed to launch with the new PS Plus next month.
