After a rather disappointing 2021-22 season that ended in first-round sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics, the Brooklyn Nets are reportedly set to undergo major front office and coaching changes in the offseason.

By the looks of it, Steve Nash will remain as head coach despite previous calls for his firing after back-to-back failures with the Nets. However, with assistants David Vanterpool and Adam Harrington expected to leave the team, there could be new faces backing up Nash come the 2022-23 campaign.

Per Brian Lewis of the New York Post:

Now assistants David Vanterpool and Adam Harrington — who doubles as director of player development — are both likely gone, according to Marc Stein. Marks talked about having to go back to their player development roots. Sources have told The Post there could be yet more turnover among the front office.

Steve Clifford and James Borrego are among the names mentioned as possible replacements in Steve Nash's coaching staff, and considering the experience of the two and their reputation for player development, they might not be bad choices at all.

The Nets have plenty of questions to answer in the offseason, and clearly, their coaching and front office are part of it. On the roster side, they still have to make a decision on the future of Kyrie Irving as well as their other free agents.

With all that said, it is certainly brewing to be an intriguing offseason for Brooklyn.
