Cambrie Todd belted a home run, a triple and had two RBI as third-seeded Gloucester Catholic defeated sixth-seeded Holy Cross Prep, 10-0, in the quarterfinal of the NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public B tournament in Gloucester City.
Gloucester Catholic (17-6) will face seventh-seeded Holy Spirit in the semifinal on Thursday.
Adrianna Green gave up two hits while striking out eight and walking one in four innings while Emily McGinn went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI and run scored in the victory.
Brooklyn Carcaci gave up one hit and struck out one for the final three outs for Gloucester Catholic.
Holy Cross Prep is now 7-9.
Holy Spirit 11, Timothy Christian 5
Seventh-seeded Holy Spirit scored seven runs in the sixth inning on it’s way to defeating second-seeded Timothy Christian in the quarterfinal of the South, Non-Public B tournament in Piscataway.
Holy Spirit (8-12) will play third-seeded Gloucester Catholic in the semifinal on Thursday.
Timothy Christian is now 17-4.
Wildwood Catholic 6, Doane Academy 5
Fifth-seeded Wildwood Catholic won in 10 innings over fourth-seeded Doane Academy in the quarterfinal of the South, Non-Public B tournament in Burlington.
Wildwood Catholic (9-4) will face top-seeded St. Joseph (Hamm.) in the semifinal round on Thursday.
Doane Academy is now 11-13.
