One dead, severe injuries after vehicle overturns in Beaufort County

AURORA, Beaufort County —
Emergency officials responded to a rollover accident in Beaufort County where one person died and several others were injured at the intersection of Highways 33 and 306 in Aurora.

Aurora Fire and Rescue Chief Kevin Bonner said a SUV overturned in a curve, causing the accident.

Officials that worked the scene said there were eight people inside the SUV when it overturned. One person died, and several others had varying degrees of injuries.
At this time, neither the victims, nor their current conditions, have been identified.
No other parties were involved in this crash, according to officials.
The State Highway Patrol was not able to reached for comment as they are heading up the investigation. re waiting to hear back.
