Lied Center announces rest of 2022-23 lineup, including Yo-Yo Ma

Season tickets are on sale now

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lied Center announced its full 2022-23 season lineup on Monday.

It is bringing in more than 30 shows between the fall of this year and August of next year.

The Broadway season was announced in March, and all of those shows are available to pick from for the full season ticket plans. That includes “Hamilton,” which was previously open only Broadway season subscribers.

The shows the Lied Center is expecting to be big hits include The American Ballet Theater performing one of the most famous ballets, “Giselle”; The Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and composer Danny Elfman bringing the music of Tim Burton’s films to life; and world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma performing with pianist Kathryn Stott.

To get the best seats for any of these shows, you must be a season ticket subscriber.  That means you have to select at least four shows.

“With the really popular events, the Danny Elfman event, Yo-Yo Ma, American Ballet Theater, the best seats will go very quickly,” Lied Center spokeswoman Lauren Silverman Durban said. “So the sooner you can make that happen, I think the happier you will be with the seats you’re able to secure.”

Purchasing season tickets also gives the buyer a discount on the total amount.  Buying tickets for four to seven shows gives you a 10% discount and purchasing eight or more gives you a 20% discount on the total cost.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.
