ABILENE, Kan. (WIBW) - A Washington Co. man has been arrested after a more than $2,000 doll was stolen from an adult store in Abilene.

The Dickinson Co. Sheriff’s Office says just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, deputies responded to the Lion’s Den Adult Super Store in Abilene at 2349 Fair Rd. after the commercial business alarm sounded.

Deputies said they found a white man had entered the occupied business and allegedly “removed property without permission” which had been valued at more than $2,000.

After deputies sought help from the public on Facebook, they said public response helped them track Kenneth Riddle, 43, to Washington Co.

Washington Co. deputies arrested Riddle on Monday, May 23, for aggravated burglary and felony theft.

Riddle was transported back to Dickinson Co.

Deputies from both offices were able to recover the stolen property from a house at 300 W 1st St. in Washington, Kansas.

Dickinson County Sheriff Jerry Davis tells 13 NEWS that the recovered property was “a Next Gen Kendra Life-Size sex doll in an original box.” He noted that the doll was valued at $2,199.75.
