Rosario Dawson by no means is a newbie in the world of acting but it can't be denied that her involvement in the Star Wars project helped increase her stock value. After her appearance in Season 2 of The Mandalorian as Ahsoka Tano received praise and rave reviews from fans and critics alike, the 43-year-old actress is now gearing up for an even bigger task and that is headlining her own series.

It's evident that Dawson enjoys playing the part and her dedication to the Ahsoka role is quite exceptional. Turns out, she once considered shaving her head in preparation for her standalone series which is scheduled to hit Disney+ sometime in 2023.

Dawson recently sat down with Vanity Fair to discuss the upcoming project. According to the Daredevil star, shaving her head is something she's always wanted to do and that her mother was her main influence behind it.

She shared: "I’m actually thinking of shaving my head. I always wanted to. My mom shaved her head for her 40th. I’m going to be 43 this year. I was thinking about doing it whenever we get around to actually filming…. That’ll be a really great time to shave my head, because if it sucks I’ll just have montrals on the whole time while I grow it out."

There's no denying that Rosario's performance as Ahsoka Tano is one of the best bits about the MandoVerse and I can't wait to see what she brings to the table in her own show. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be mind-blowing.

Ahsoka Tano previously appeared in The Book of Boba Fett, streaming exclusively on Disney+.
