Mr. Norris Edward Bradley, age 90, of Dry Branch Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born September 13, 1931 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Jason and Ruth May Bradley.
Norris was a member of the Soldier Masonic Lodge for 62 years and he served as treasurer for 22 years. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Kentucky Colonel. He loved going to church, farming, loafing with his friends and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Marcella Goodman Bradley; two sons-in-law, Alvin Staton Jr and William Earl Fisher.
Norris is survived by three daughters, Marquita Fisher of Clearfield, Kentucky, Renee Bradley of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Connie (Ronnie) Buckler of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one grandson, Brandon (Gloria) Tackett of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one great granddaughter, Madison P’Simer, along with a host of many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Bobby Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradley Family Cemetery on the Bradley Farm.
A Masonic Service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 by the Soldier Lodge #708.
Friends may visit after 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 and after 9:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West Highway US 60 in Olive Hill, Kentucky 41164.
Ronnie Buckler, Herman Conn, Tracey Elliott, Leonard Sloan, Randy Bradley, and Benny Caudill will serve as pallbearers.
Bill Arrowood, Bill Bradley and James Tackett will serve as honorary pallbearers.
