A year ago, the Tigers had five of the top 25 prospects in Major League Baseball, according to MLB Pipeline.

After a slew of graduations to Detroit, they're down to two in the top 100.

In MLB Pipeline's latest update, released Monday, only outfielder Riley Greene (No. 2) and pitcher Jackson Jobe (No. 32) earned top-100 status for the Tigers.

Last January, Spencer Torkelson ranked No. 3, Casey Mize No. 11, Greene No. 21, Tarik Skubal No. 24 and Matt Manning No. 25. They have all formally graduated to the bigs in the past year.

And Greene should arrive in Detroit later this summer, just as soon as he recovers from the fractured foot he suffered toward the end of spring training. The Tigers consider the 21-year-old their center fielder of the future.

"Whether it’s in center or a corner," per MLB Pipeline, "he’ll be an impact bat alongside Torkelson in the heart of a Detroit lineup."

Jobe, the third overall pick last year, jumped 13 spots from the rankings at the end of last season. The 19-year-old righty is currently with Low-A Lakeland.

Per MLB Pipeline, "Jobe’s delivery is repeatable and athletic, and throwing strikes shouldn’t be much of a concern on the pro side. There may be some baby steps along the way, but the building blocks are evident in what could make Jobe a future No. 2 starter in Detroit."

Double-A catcher Dillon Dingler, Low-A shortstop Cristian Santana -- who plans to be better than Alan Trammell -- and High-A pitcher Ty Madden round out the Tigers' top five prospects.
