The disagreement began when Pelfrey "walked across the street (East Larwill) from his parents' residence to confront the victim," court documents show.
A physical altercation between Pelfrey and Snyder, 28, ensued. Pelfrey pulled out a handgun and shot Snyder once in the chest, according to court records.
Pelfrey then fled the scene in a vehicle, police said, after taking Snyder's handgun.
When Wooster Police arrived at 5:46 p.m., they provided Snyder medical aid before he was taken to Wooster Community Hospital where he died.
