Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis were once ‘very attracted to each other’

Cybill Shepherd had the hots for Bruce Willis.

The “Cybill” alum, 72, revealed Friday that she had off-the-charts chemistry with the “Motherless Brooklyn” star, 67, when he auditioned to star opposite her in “Moonlighting” in the 1980s.

“My temperature went up 10 degrees,” she told “Extra” at the Race to Erase MS gala about their first encounter. “That meant two things to me: One, I was very attracted to him. Two, I would never act on it ’cause we were both very attracted to each other.”

Shepherd recalled that “no one else was ever considered for the part” as soon as Willis walked in the room, adding, “I will always love Bruce.”

The couple played private detectives in the critically acclaimed comedy-drama series, which ran on ABC from 1985 to 1989.

Following the show’s cancellation, Willis found global stardom in movies like “Die Hard,” “Pulp Fiction” and “The Sixth Sense.”

The Golden Globe nominee’s family announced in March that he was retiring from acting due to aphasia, a condition that affects the ability to communicate.

The statement said the “Armageddon” actor would be “stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him” due to having “recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.”

It was signed by his wife, Emma Heming, his ex-wife, Demi Moore, and his five children, Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, Tallulah, 28, Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8.

Heming, 43, recently shared that she has been struggling while dealing with her husband’s condition.

“I put my family’s needs above my own, which I found does not make me any kind of hero,” the model told The Bump.

Instead, Heming is opting to focus on “basic baseline needs,” which include exercise.
