12:20am: A deputy investigated a theft complaint in the 1400 blk of U Avenue.

12:47am: A deputy performed a welfare check in the 900 blk of 220th Street.

4:45am: A deputy assisted a motorist in the 900 blk of 220th Street.

7:51am: A deputy was advised of an alarm in the 200 blk of Main Street in Grand Junction. The alarm company called back at 7:56 am and advised to cancel the deputy.

9:03am: A deputy investigated a theft complaint in the 900 blk of Irving Street in Scranton.

1:31pm: A deputy investigated a theft complaint in the 900 blk of Main Street in Scranton.

2:50pm: A juvenile was booked into the Greene County Jail on Carrying weapons on school grounds, harassment 1st degree and manner of conveyance-assembled unloaded gun.

4:39pm: Deputies assisted the Iowa State Patrol with a High-Speed Pursuit.

5:39pm: A deputy is investigating a burglary complaint in the 1500 blk of T Avenue.

5:42pm: A deputy was advised of dogs barking near the 300 blk of 17th Street North in Grand Junction.

7:01pm: A deputy noticed a large amount of smoke coming from the 800 blk of Hager Street East in Grand Junction. The deputy spoke with the homeowner and had them put the fire out.

8:26pm: A deputy responded to the 900 blk of Locust Street in Scranton for a fight. When the deputy arrived, one party had already left.

9:10pm: A deputy performed a welfare check on a bicyclist on 220th Street near E Avenue.

9:17pm: A deputy responded to the 1600 blk of N Avenue for a car versus deer accident. The driver Cynthia Van Horn of Glidden was operating a red 2014 Buick Enclave when she struck a deer. The deer caused an estimated $8,000 in damages to the vehicle.

10:05pm: Betty Hoyle (67) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was booked into the Greene County Jail for Public Intoxication.

Saturday, May 21st

4:53pm: A deputy assisted a motorist in the 900 blk of 220th Street.

6:47pm: A deputy was advised of a careless driver in the 600 blk of Main Street East in Grand Junction.

11:32pm: Zachary Clewell (29) of Galesburg, Illinois was booked into the Greene County Jail on violation of no contact/protective order – contempt.

Sunday, May 22nd

12:22am: A deputy investigated a complaint of a suspicious person near the intersection of Lovejoy Street and Hendricks Street in Rippey.

3:26pm: A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 600 blk of Head Street in Churdan.

7:03pm: A deputy assisted a motorist in the 500 blk of X Avenue.

7:28pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 1000 blk of 150th Street. The deputy arrested a juvenile and charged them with assault causing serious injury or mental illness.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
