KC Chiefs preseason schedule 2022: What you need to know

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their preseason schedule for the 2022 NFL season, and we’ve got your info here.

The month of May brings the upcoming schedule into proper view each year for the National Football League. The primary way is through the release of the regular-season schedule during a special unveiling broadcast, but it’s also the time of year when preseason plans are announced. On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs made their summer schedule clear for all.

The Chiefs will play three preseason games, as per the new normal with a 17-game regular season.  This year, they’ll face the Chicago Bears, the Washington Commanders, and the Green Bay Packers.

The Chiefs still have some offseason training activities coming up this month and next along with a mandatory minicamp in June. From there, players and staff will have about one month off before needing to arrive in St.Joseph for training camp at Missouri Western State University.

Here’s the full preseason schedule for the Chiefs in 2022:

  1. Game 1- Sat. August 13 – Chiefs @ Chicago Bears, 12:00 p.m.
  2. Game 2 – Sat. August 20 – Washington Commanders @ Chiefs, 3:00 p.m.
  3. Game 3 – Thu. August 25 – Green Bay Packers @ Chiefs, 7:00 p.m.

Remember that the Chiefs begin the regular season on the road on Sunday, September 11 at Arizona to play the Cardinals in Week 1.
