Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania are the go-to guys when it comes to NBA news. Everyone loves a good Woj Bomb, but this time it is Shams providing a massive Andre Iguodala injury update for the Warriors.

Charania shared the following news on the Pat McAfee show in regards to Iguodala’s status for the NBA Finals, assuming the Warriors don't blow their current 3-0 lead against the Mavs.

“Andre Iguodala… we haven’t seen him really for weeks now, and he’s been dealing with a neck issue. He’s a guy who was a big part of their championship run, their dynasty over the last decade or so. I’m told the hope is that he’s going to be able to progress to make a return in the Finals. We will see if that comes.”

Andre Iguodala is not the All-Star caliber player he once was. But he is still a talented presence on the court who offers vital leadership ability. Iguodala plays a quality brand of defense and is no stranger to knocking down the occasional jumper.

His potential return will be even more important for the Warriors if Otto Porter Jr ends up missing an extended period of time following his Game 3 injury. Steve Kerr called Porter Jr’s injury “definitely concerning” despite negative X-Rays.

The Warriors will aim to complete the sweep of the Mavs in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals and book their ticket to the NBA Finals. Andre Iguodala’s potential return would be a big spark for Golden State without question in their quest for another championship.
