Stuart Pearce QUITS West Ham after two years coaching under David Moyes and helping Hammers into Europe
STUART PEARCE has stepped down from his first-team coaching role at West Ham after helping the Hammers secure back-to-back top-seven finishes.
The former England star rejoined David Moyes' coaching staff in the summer of 2020.
The Hammers went on to secure a top-six finish that season and continued their fine form into the 2021-22 campaign.
West Ham reached the semi-finals of the Europa League and finished 7th, securing Europa Conference League football for next term.
Pearce said: “It is with a heavy heart that I have made this decision to leave West Ham United.
"It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work at the Club over the past two years, but I have decided that now is the right time to step away and pursue other opportunities and challenges.

Manager Moyes said: "We thank Stuart for his hard work and dedication over the past two years.
