NCIS: Hawai'i star Vanessa Lachey has hinted at a dramatic season finale.
The ever-popular world of NCIS expanded this season with a brand new spin-off zeroing in on Jane Tennant, the franchise's first-ever leading female agent and a role that Lachey says has been an honour to play.
Speaking with TVLine last week at CBS/Paramount's Upfront party, Lachey promised a fiery end to the first season.
"Here's what I will say: it goes down. We literally end with a bang," Lachey said. "At the end of all of it, I would give you one word that has driven us through the entire season – 'ohana, which means 'family'. We are there for each other, no matter what.

"I promise you won't be disappointed. The ending will make a lot of fans very happy."
Addressing Jane's love life, Lachey teased: "That is discussed. A lot of relationships are discussed. And not resolved."
Fans can watch the rest of NCIS: Hawai'i's first year knowing that it will be coming back next season, alongside the other shows from the franchise, NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles.
NCIS will air in its historic 20th season and NCIS: LA will be back for season 14, while the Lachey-led series will return for a second run.
