Pete Davidson is always close to Kim Kardashian’s heart … and nails.
While fans were eager to get a glimpse at sister Kourtney Kardashian and new husband Travis Barker’s Italian wedding yesterday, Kim’s only post from the day spoke a thousand words.
Captioning her photo with a simple nail polish emoji, “The Kardashians” star showed off a picture of her hand featuring a long, coffin-shaped pink manicure with a crystal ‘P’ on her ring finger — seemingly in reference to Davidson.
The SNL actor, 28, made his final appearance on the show this weekend and therefore wasn’t present for the Kravis nuptials on Sunday — though Kardashian showed her support from afar, not only with her manicure but also a collage of her beau on the show.
It seems her mani may have been inspired by Kourtney’s nuptials; the new Mrs. Barker had husband Travis’s initials painted on her nails back in February and even incorporated one of his tattoos into her veil design.
Many fans posted in support of Kim’s gesture with comments like, “We Stan a loving gf,” and “I [heart] this era of Kim #kimshappiness #pd #k+p.”
Others weren’t so impressed, writing comments like, “Omg cringe,” “Kim I love you but what are these…” and “8th grade.”
And then there were the more confused remarks, with fans wondering if the ‘P’ was in reference to niece Penelope, or her son, Psalm — or wondering why she was sporting such a blingy manicure at all.
“KIM WITH NAILS!!???” one follower commented, referencing the Skims founder’s departure from her typical short, neutral manicures.
Nail art aside, the beauty mogul — fresh off her appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated — rocked some standout looks by Dolce & Gabbana for the big wedding weekend.
From an off-the-shoulder gray outfit with “pantashoes” to a goth-style, high-necked black lace gown for the wedding, Kim has made some major style statements in Italy so far — including the crystal-covered two-piece she wore in a video on her Instagram stories, dancing the night away at Kourtney and Travis’s wedding reception.
Now that SNL has wrapped, Kim and Pete’s reunion is sure to be extra special, thanks to her glitzy tribute.
