After an exciting first week of the postseason, here are some of the standout performers from Westchester, Rockland and Putnam that enjoyed a big week.

Last week, Westlake senior pitcher, Kelly Andrews, was voted lohud Softball Player of the Week. She went 3-0 in the circle with 22 strikeouts. Andrews also hit 8-for-16 (.500) at the plate, with six doubles, five RBI, two runs and a .529 on-base percentage.

We would like you, the reader, to survey our six Player of the Week finalists and cast your vote. The players' credentials are listed above the fan poll — which will be live until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on lohud social media accounts on Tuesday night.

Emily Duhaney, Ursuline

The junior pitcher was crucial in the Koalas' wins over Clarkstown North and Nyack. She pitched a combined 16 innings, giving up just one earned run, with 18 strikeouts. Duhaney went 4-for-5 at the plate through both games. She helped Ursuline hold off Nyack in a nine-inning 5-4 quarterfinal, where she didn't give up any earned runs but also had the game-winning RBI.

Alana Espinoza, Hen Hud

She pitched a three-hit shutout, with 12 strikeouts, plus a hit at the plate in Hen Hud's 5-0 opening round win over Nanuet. Then, in a big upset over top-seeded Yorktown, who was undefeated against Class A opposition, Espinoza pitched another gem, limiting the Huskers to just three hits, with eight strikeouts, in a 1-0 win over Yorktown. Espinoza had a bunt for a hit in the top of the seventh inning and eventually came around to beat the throw at home to score the winning run.

Andy Hegarty, Hackley

In the quarterfinals of the NYSAIS Tournament, she racked up 14 strikeouts and gave up just two earned runs and three walks in the 14-7 win over Dalton. She also impressed at the plate, going 4-for-5 with a triple and seven RBI.

Delaney McGovern, North Rockland

The junior pitcher went 2-0 through playoff wins against Ossining and John Jay-East Fishkill. McGovern tallied 18 strikeouts, with no earned runs and seven hits and four walks allowed this week. Against Ossining, McGovern faced the minimum of 21 batters in a one-hit shutout, then kept John Jay-East Fishkill at bay in a low-scoring affair.

Brianna Santilli, Tappan Zee

The senior shortstop went 5-for-8 throughout the week, hitting for a cycle in the Dutchmen's opening round win over Yonkers. Then, she hit the game-tying solo home run in the top of the sixth inning, which sparked an eight-run rally to bring Tappan Zee to complete the upset over second-seeded Mahopac. Santilli finished with six RBI and scored four runs across both games.

Gabriella Triano, Harrison

The sophomore pitcher became the Huskies' new single-season strikeout record-holder, surpassing the previous mark of 176 punch-outs by Ashley Marino in 2010. Triano now has 185 strikeouts and counting this season, after a big 2-0 week that started with a perfect game against Saunders, then a 6-2 upset win over Pearl River in the Section 1 Class A quarterfinals. Triano gave up just two earned runs and a walk, with 22 strikeouts, over 12 innings of work. She also went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and two RBI.
