After a miraculous Super Bowl run, the Cincinnati Bengals aim to remain competitive in the upcoming season. It'll be a tough journey considering how stacked the AFC North is right now. If the franchise hopes to make another deep playoff run they'll need all hands on deck. For that reason, we take a look at one undrafted free agent who could make the Bengals' 2022 roster.

Cincinnati somehow managed to succeed without a good offensive line. The front office made several moves in the offseason to build up the trenches. The future of this franchise is bright with Joe Burrow under center, however, the offensive line could still use some improvement. Luckily for Cincinnati, the roster has a plethora of young talent to choose from.

The one main area of concern is the left guard position. It'll be interesting to see how the Bengals handle that position as they must choose the right player for the starting job. Considering who is on the roster now is below average, then it's important for Cincinnati to have depth in that position as well.

With that said, here is our one undrafted free agent who will make the Bengals' 2022 roster.

Bengals Undrafted Free Agent To Make 2022 Roster

Desmond Noel

Desmond Noel is a Cincinnati native who played his collegiate career at Florida International. He joins the Bengals as an undrafted free agent who could earn a role on the roster for the 2022 season. He has plenty of experience and began his football journey in community college. This means he has experience competing on a football team for a role.

At 6'4″ and 305 pounds, Noel proved to be a reliable lineman at Florida International. He played a large role in the offense as he helped the team out in several ways. His experience makes him unique, in that he has the potential to be a versatile backup for the Bengals to begin his professional career. If he can impress the coaching staff with a strong camp, Desmond Noel could be Cincinnati's newest backup guard.

He'll be in direct competition with Hakeem Adeniji and Cordell Volson. Between the three of them, the Bengals will find their immediate backup guard for the offensive line. It'll be a tough camp for Noel, as he has some stiff competition. Regardless, he has a real shot at making the final roster, especially considering how weak Cincinnati is at left guard.

As of now, Jackson Carman is the favorite to be the starter. He's not guaranteed that role though, which makes the guard position battle intriguing in Cincinnati. Desmon Noel will have plenty of opportunities to prove himself, as he's capable of helping the Bengals in more ways than one. We'll see how it all plays out, but Noel is a name to keep an eye on throughout training camp.

Desmond Noel is at his best when run blocking, but he's not bad at pass blocking either. We could see him on the field in specific packages that suit his strengths, which would be an ideal situation for Noel. The Bengals will monitor the offensive line throughout the summer, as the coaching staff will assemble the best possible group for the 2022 season.

If Desmond Noel can impress, then Cincinnati will consider keeping him on the final roster. Between the Bengals having a need at left guard and Noel's experience, this is a kid who could turn some heads and earn a role with this offense.
