Bearcats Offer 2023 Four-Star Guard Jizzle James

The point guard is one of the best scorers in the country at his position.

CINCINNATI — Wes Miller and the Bearcats sent another 2023 offer out last week. Olympia (Florida) four-star point guard Edgerrin "Jizzle" James is in UC's sights.

According to 247Sports, James is the 72nd-ranked player in the class and the 13th-ranked point guard. ESPN has him ranked as the 56th-best player in the class and the 14th-best point guard.

James is the son of NFL Hall of Fame running back Edgerrin James who played 11 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Seattle Seahawks in the 2000s.

His son has plenty of potential on the hardwood. Jizzle sports a smooth, quick-trigger jumper and unteachable agility on the open floor. Speed is a big component in his game and he uses it as his primary weapon to attack the basket. James holds 11 offers from schools like Georgetown, Tulsa, and Ole Miss.
